04/18/1977147 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DES PLAINES, HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, MONDAY, April 18, 1977 CALL TO ORDER: The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Des Plaines was called to order by Acting Mayor Charles J. Bolek at 8:10(P.M. in the Council Chambers, Des Plaines Civic Center ROLL CALL: Roll Call indicated the following aldermen present: Koplos, Sullivan, Olen, Leer, Brannigan, Kisslinger, Birchfield, Erbach, Kraves, Sarlo, Meyer, Abrams. Absent were Aldermen Szabo, Seitz, and Ward. Alderman Ward arrived following the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Also present: Assistant City Comptroller Placko, City Engineer Bowen, Director of Zoning and Planning Richardson, Acting Building Commissioner Trost, Fire Chief Corey, Police Chief Hintz, Commissioner of Public Works Schwab, Environmental Officer Lindahl, and City Attorney Hug. PRAYER AND The meeting opened with prayer by Rev. Ed. Boone of PLEDGE Immanuel Community Baptist Church, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. MINUTES: Moved by Kisslinger, seconded by Sarlo, to approve the Minutes of the regular meeting held April 4, 1977, as published. Motion declared carried.
