REDISTRICTING WARDS: The spedial committee through its chdrman, Alder- man Kehe, reported it was unanimously decided not to redistrict at this time, but to table this matter for the duration. The motion was then made by Alderman Kehe and seconded by Lemke to concur in the report. After some discussion in which Alderman McKay opposed the motion because he believed the state law called for redistricting. the Mayor pro tem put the question. The ayes carried. Code of the City of Des Plaines, 1939. The Committee recomeend;d that the provision of the Para. (B) of Sect. 193 of Article X1X of the Revise Code of 1939 remain as they are. It.furthur recommended that to insure proper inspection that the City Clerk be instructed to deliver a copy of every "Street Openin" permit application to the Building Commission after approved by the Supt of Streets pod that no permit issue until approved by theBuMing Commissioner where it pertains to sewer % Water taps. The Building Commissioner with these applications wil have notice of intended work and will thereby be enabled to provide for necesary inspection as provided by existing ordinances.
