The motion was made by Alderman Bishop and seconded by Campagna to suspend such rules of the Council as might prevent the final passage of this proposed ordinance at this meeting, for the purpose of permitting the final passage of the said ordinance at this meeting, and; to put the ordinance on passage. The Mayor put the question on the suspension of rules and the Clerk called the roll with the following result. DESIGNATING CLERK_PRO-TEM: in the absence of Edgar .`.Friedrich, City Clerk, who was called out of town be- cause of his mother's illness, Mayor Kinder, with the consent of the Council, designated City Attorney Kenneth G.Meyer as Clerk Pro -Tem. ROLL CALL: The Clerk Pro -tem then called the roll with Aldermen Ahbe, Carroll, Pflughaupt, Tulle, MacLuckie, Yrederick, Lemke, Schwanbeck and Campagna responding thereto. Alderman Bishop was absent because of illness. REPORTS OF OFFICERS: The report for April 1936 of H.A.Becker, Captain of Police was then read and ordered placed on file by the Mayor. The presentation of the April 1936 reports of the City Clerk, and the City Treasurer was deferred to the next regular meeting of the Council.
