The motion was made by Alderman F'ulle and seconded by
Carroll to refer this letter to the Streets and Sidewalks
Comittee for study and report at the next regular Council
meeting,. The motion was voted upon by acclamation whereupon
the Mayor declared the motion carried.
AUTO WRECKING YARD: Mr. Ihssen addressed the
Council requesting a license to conduct an auto wrecking
establds.lment in the old foundry buildings on East Miner
Street. The motion was made by Alderman MacLuckie and
seconded by 1'flughuupt to requext Mr. lhssen. to submit his
request invariting. The motion vias voted upon by acclamation
whereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried.

To the members of the City Council
of the City of Des P 1aines,illinois
Upon call of Mayor George W.Kinder there will be a
special meeting of the City Council of the City of
DesPlaines at the City Ha11,Des Plaines,lllinois
on Wednesday, April 15,l 36 at 8:00 P.M.
The Purpose of the meeting is to deliberate upon develop-
ments in connection with the pater Works contract, P.I.A.
Project 7270, and to act upon such other City business
as may need attention.

P.W.A.PROJECT #7270: The Clerk reported that
chile approval by P.W.A.of the award of contract to R.C.
=ieboldt Co. for completion of Section "A" of P.V.A. Project
#7270 seems certain, there is some possibility that the
City may have to readvertise for bids. He further reported
that if re -advertising should become necessary, the
advertisement must be in the newspaper office betre noon
to -morrow; (April 16 1936).
The motion was made by Alderman Fulle and seconded
by Bishop to authorize the Clerk to re=advertise, if necessary,
for bids for the completion of Section 'A' of P.W.A.Project
1;7270, subject to the approval of the State Director of the
Public Works Administration said re -advertisement to be published
in the Des Plaines Journal. The Mayor put the question and the
Clerk called the roll with the following result: Ayes; Aldermen
Carroll, Fulle, Bi hoJ, tiacLuckie, Frederick, Lemke and Campagna.
Nays; None. The Mayor thereupon d eclared the motion carried.

CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by
Mayor George EMnder, presiding, with Aldermen Ahbe, Carroll,
Pflughaupt, Fulls, Bishop, NacLuckie, Yrederick,Lemke, Schwan-
beck and Campagna responding to the roll call. The Clerk re-
ported all members of the Council present.
THE JUDICIARY AND ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE had no report
to offer.
THE STREETS AND SIDEWALKS COMMITTEE , through its
chairman, alderman Frederick, reported that efforts have been
put forth toward inducing the Suburban Paving and improvement
Company, the contractor who is repaving Lee Street, to haul
crushed stone from the Lee Street excavation, to some of the
Riverview Streets. He repord further that action is expected
during the course of the week.
THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS, BUILDINGS AND PLATS
had no report Co offer.
THE SEWER DRAINAGE AND SNITATION COMMITTEE HAD NO
REPORT TO OFFER.
