("78,000.00) and a grant of Twenty - Five Thousand Dollars (25,000.00) or a total of One Hundred Three Thousand Dollaro,(103,000.00)for the betterment and improvement of said water supply system, and WHEREAS advertisement for bids was duly had,and the bids of sundry contractors received by the City Council of the CITY OF DES PLAILES, and WHEREAS the cost of said contemplated improve- ment based on the lowest bids therefor, exceeds the ezti- mated cost thereof by Twelve Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars (121850.00); THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the CITY OF DES PLAIES that this Council does hereby re- quest the l+ederstl Administrator of Public Works for an increased grant of Four Thousand Dollars (;„s4,C0G.00) , being approximately thirty per cent (3C) of said in- creased cost of Twelve Thousand Light Hundred Fifty Dollars (02,850.0C).
