DAY OF MARCH, A.D.1C34 AT THE HOUR OF
8:0C P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor George
.Kinder with Aldermen Ahbe, Collet, Pflughaupt, Dean,"
Huxmann, 3ishop, Friott, Frederick, Enzenbacher and Meinshausen,
responding to the roll call.
Mayor Kinder then invited suggestions from the various
citizens present regarding the financial problem of the City.
The matter was freely discussed and suggestions such as finding
the City's floating debt, issuing self-li4uidating scrip, and
carrying on a "pay your taxes" campaign were made.
The motion was made by Alderman Huxmann and seconded
by Frederick to make a charge of1C.00 per night for the use
of the Council Chambers when used by outside political and
other organizations, unless the Council orders otherwise.
The roll was called on the motion with the following result:
Ayes; :Aldermen Ah'be, Collet, .eflu haupt, Dean, iiuxmann, Bishop
Friott, Frederick, Enzenbacher and ii-einshausen. Lays; None.
The Mayor thereupon declared the motion carried.
The motion was made by Alderman Bishop and seconded
by Collet to Adjourn. The motion was voted upon by acclamation,
*hereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Council
regularly adjourned.
