the following notice was delivered by messenger -to 'the Mayorand

Dear Sir: -
Upon order of mayor Charles Hammerl, there will
be.a special meeting of the Oity Council of the Uity of
Dee Plaines at the. City Hall, on iiriday oune 24i -at L. 1114
he purpose of this meeting is to pass the
ordinance revising the water rate for water -taken -from the
Cater Well, as well as to deliberate upon the mater of
vacations for City Employees.

The meeting was called to order by mayor hammeri at 80U r. M.
The roil was called with Aldermen Ahbe, Collet, :Jean, Lacey and znzen-
bacher responding to the roll call. -1dermen eflughaupt, Iluxmann,
Kinder, ffriott, and Meinshalaass were absent. The Ulerk reported
that there was "no quarum* present, whereupon the Mayor declared
adjournment for want of a quarum.

The motion was made i3y Alderman .Lacey and seconded by Collet to adopt
the -resolution. The roll'was called on the motion with the following
result: Ayes; Aldermen Ahbe, Collet, Pflughaupt, vean, auxmann, ts-indes
Lacey, rriott, and Aeinshausen. riays; bone. 'ilie'llayor•thereupon de-
clared- ther .,6otion carried, and the resolution adopted.
Alderman Lacey chairman of the Water committee reported
that the l'retaker Aim° Gardens still feel that their last bill -for
Water is exhorbitant, and are planning to drill a well and. discon-
t inue the- use of pity water. The motion was made by Aldermahn nux-
mann and seconded by Uollet to resubmit the -bill in the 'original
amount- at* invite- the -Premier -Rose -Gardens to have its Tepresenta-
tive•present -at the' next - regular -Uouncil meetistg.- •The -roll calie'don'ihe motion with the following result: Ayes; Aldermen
Ahbe, Collet, P flughaupt-, Dean,' nuxmann, rtinder •wacey riott, and
Meinshausen. Mays; Aerie; The -Alayor She reupon -declared- the -mot ion
carried.
The motion was made ay Alderman .uacey and seconded by
collet to approve' the -minutes of the regular Council- meeting of
June 6, 1932 as well as the minutes of the adjourned meeting of the
council of 'lune 14, 1962 as written. The motion was voted upon by
acclamatiami whereupon. the -mayor -declared the- motion' carried -and the
minutes approved.
The motion was made by Alderman Hinder and seconded by
Collet that Council adjourn. The motion was voted upon by Accla-
mation whereupin the mayor declared the motion -carried and the
Council regularly adjourned.
