The following notice was sent to the Mayor and each of
Alderman twenty-four hours before the meeting.
December 23rd,
• Dear Sir: -
31.°u are hereby notified that Mayor Hawmerl
has called a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Des Plaines for Monday December 28th,
1931 at 7:30 P. M. in the City Clerkfs Office.
The•meeting is called solely and alone
for the purpose of considering passage of the Water
bill due Wm. H. Cater, and shotir therefore be a
short meeting.

Mayor Hammerlbeing absent on account of illtass, the
meeting was called to order by E. J. Friedrich, City Clerk, with
.Aldermen Collet, Pflughaupt, Huxmann, Kinder, Lacey, Wettin, Enzen-
. bather, and Meinshausen responding to .the r611 call. The motion
was made by Alderman Huxmann and seconded by•Enzenbacher that Alder-
man Kinder serve as chairman of the meeting. The motion was voted
upon.by acclamation, whereupon the chairman declared the motion
carried. Alderman Kinder thereupon took the chair.
The motion was made by Alderman Huxmann and seconded, by
Lacey to authorize the payment of the water bill due Wm. H. Cater in
the amount of $736.68 for water furnished for the month of September
1931, as invoice under date of October 6, 1931. The roll was called
on the motion with the following result: Ayes; Aldermen Collet,
Pflughaupt, Huxmann, Kinder, Lacey, Wettin, Enzenbacher and Meinshausen.
Nays: None. The chairman thereupon declared the motion carried.
The motion was made by Alderman Lacey and seconded by Collet
to adjourn. The motion was voted upon by acclamation whereupon the
• chairman declared the motion carried. and the Council regularly
adjourned.
