Dear Sir: We enclose herewith our proposals for fur- nishing your city with 2000 feet of 2i" Fire Hose with automatic couplings attached, at 95 cents per foot, or a total of $1900.00. r14 - 2% ten days, 90 days net. Shipment two weeks. Our hose is guaranteed to withstand a test pres- sure of 300 lbs. against defects in material or work- manship for thirty-six months from the date of delivery. Our Baker Fabric Hose is a solid flat multiple woven hose. The strong appeal of this hose to the firemen is that it remains pliable whether wet or dry, and is easily packed away. 1t will not become stiff. The rubber lining is of reinforced construc- tion. An extra thickness of rubber reinforcing is on each side where it flattens when packed away. With this construction the hose will not kink when bent sharply. This naturally prolongs tie life of the rubber lining. Baker Fabric has been manufactured by us for over forty years, and is being used in many large cities. The following have purchased from us within the last few months: Buffalo, N. Y. Jamestown, N. Y. Wichita, Kansas Clintonville, Wis. Buhl, Minn. Baltimore, 5000 ft. 3000 ft. 2000 ft. 1000 ft. 800 ft. 4800 ft. Should you favor us with the order please fill out one of the enclosed proposals and return to us.
