I shall strive to appeal to you to do some- thing in the matter of returning the sidewalk special assessments for lots 7,8,9,10,11, and 12 in block 5 of Mclntoshs Addition to Des Plaines Heights returned not delinquent" so that I can pay the rest of the Specials which I am prepared to meet and then only when I have in writing that those six lots are safe from tax sale, will I make the payment. Last year action had been taken and was rescinded later on with a threat from your attorney that he would sell my lots. It seems that everyone must know that I was excused from having sidewalks, my lots being at the stub ends of streets ending at the Soo Railway. If those lots were in any way productive of money, I might be able to meet the issue, but I offered some of them at half price last year and notone waa sold. Please have this read into the records of the meeting on the following Monday. Kindly advise me when the necessary steps have been taken so that I may pay rest of the assess- ments, otherwise as I stated on the other letter, I shall have to wait until August when. I can arrange payment. Thanking you for co-operation in the past, I remain i'espectfully yours, FLORA 3.
