Wille, wish to advise that I have checked this matter up, and I have found that Yr. Wille is correct. Installments i5, 6, 7 and 8 of Special Assessment 1/-60 have been paid twice, and he is therefore entitled to a refund of 4146.42, as outlined in his communica- tion. Alderman Schroeder brought up the matter of annexation of the subdivision known as Park Addition and stated that progress on the signing of the proper petitions was going forward slowly, and that no doubt same would be ready for the next Council meeting. 11±. Svoboda was present and addressed the Council for a few minutes on the question of a building line being established for the property between Ellinwood Avenue and Prairie Avenuelipn Lee Street. The matter was referred to the Public Works, Fire, Building and City Plats Committeetith the Engineer for a report on same at the next Council meeting. Alderman Ahbe took up the matter of annexation of the Park Addition property and stated hethought the people would be more interested in signing a ptitition for annexation if the question could be discussed in a public meeting. Alderman Enzenbacher then moved that a public hearing on this matter be held with the property owners in Park Addition on the date of September 30th, 1929. Alderman Collet seconded this motion and the same carried by vote of acclamation. Mayor Hammerl then appointed Garfield Miller as a member of the Board of Appeals to succeed Joseph D. Mayorga resigned. Alderman Suster moved that the appointment be confirmed. Alderman Lacey seconded this motion and Vie same carried by vote of acclamation. There being no further business to come before the City Council at this time on motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the meeting adjourned.
