MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING HELD IN
THE ELEANOR ROHRBACH MEMORIAL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, DES PLAINES CIVIC CENTER,
WEDNESDAY, NORVEMBER 20, 1985
The Public Hearing held pursuant to letter written to the
Waycinden Park residents of the City of Des Plaines,
issued November 19, 1985, was called to order by Mayor
Seitz at 8:15 P.M. in the Eleanor Rohrbach Memorial
Council Chambers, Des Plaines, Illinois.
Mayor John E. Seitz, Alderman Wetter, Alderman Martin,
City Attorney Smith and Administrative Officer Taylor,
and residents of Waycinden Park.
To explain the objection form for the people of Waycinden
Park and to answer their questions and give them assis-
tance with their objection forms.
Mayor Seitz called upon City Attorney Smith to make a
presentation to explain the City's position in this
matter and to answer the various questions presented by
the Waycinden residents. City Attorney Smith used the
overhead projector to assist the residents in completing
their forms. He explained why the City was late in
assisting the residents with their forms and advised them
to file their objections this evening. The residents filed
their objections.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 9:55 P.M.
