MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING
HELD IN THE ELEANOR ROHRBACH
MEMORIAL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, DES
PLAINES CIVIC CENTER, MONDAY,
DECEMBER L7, 1984
CALL TO ORDER: The Public Hearing held in pursuant to legal notice
regarding the proposed plan of financing the costs of
refunding the City's $8,000,000 Industrial Development
Revenue Bond, dated July 14, 1981, Hart Schaffner &
Marx Project, which was issued to finance a portion of
the cost of the acquisition, construction and installa-
tion of a 172,000 square -foot building addition housing
certain materialhandling and apparel manufacturing
operations and adjacent to the existing distribution
center of Hart Schaffner & Marx, located at 1700 East
Touhy, in Des Plaines, Illinois, was called to order
by Mayor John E. Seitz at 8:24 P.M. in the Eleanor
Rohrbach Memorial Council Chambers, Des Plaines Civic
Center.
ROLL CALL:
Roll call indicated the following aldermen present:
Muehlenbeck, Kolinski,.Bonk, Martin, Wetter, Schneck,
Kisslinger, Adams, Hardiman, Dini, Chiropolos, Addante,
Zanca, Volberding, Gebert. Alderman Ward was absent.
Mayor Seitzasked if there was any public input regarding this matter.
There was none, so the Public Hearing on this matter was adjourned at
8:25 P.M.
