CALL TO ORDER: The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Des Plaines was called to order by Mayor John E. Seitz
at 8:08 P.M. in the Eleanor Rohrbach Memorial Council
Chambers, Des Plaines Civic Center.

Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council held
December 7, 1981, as published. Motion declared carried.

the Minutes of the special meeting of the City Council held

HIGGINS AND
MANNHEIM ROADS:
Alderman Tomaszewski, Chairman of Water and Sewer Committee
requested Building Commissioner issue temporary occupancy
permit for a sixty day period, at which time McDonald's
Restaurant, Higgins and Mannheim Roads notify Engineering
Department that water main has been constructed per plan.
PRAIRIE AVENUE Deferred action at December 7, 1981 meeting, to adopt
GUARD RAIL: the recommendation of the Streets and Traffic Committee,
to authorize DiPaolo Construction Company, 7400 Waukegan
Road, Niles, Illinois, to install guard rails along
Prairie Avenue from Lyman Avenue east to Potter Road,
in the amount of $27,500. waiving usual bid procedures,
was brought to floor.

that the various property owners in this area help defray
the expenses in the amount of $13,500. Upon roll call,
