10/20/1975376 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DES PLAINES, ILLINOIS, HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, MONDAY, October 20, 1975 CALL TO ORDER: The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Des Plaines was called to order at 8:09 P.M. by Mayor Herbert H. Behrel in the City Council Chambers, Des Plaines Civic Center. ROLL CALL: Roll Call indicated the following aldermen present: Koplos, Szabo, Sullivan, Olen, Bolek, Leer, Brannigan, Kisslinger, Birchfield, Erbach, Kraves, Sarlo, Meyer, Seitz, Abrams, Ward. Also present were: Comptroller Blietz, Police Chief Hintz, Fire Chief Corey, Commissioner of Public Works Schwab, Planner Richardson, Engineer Bowen, Building Commissioner Baldaccini, Environmental Control Officer Lindahl, City Treasurer Mahon, Police Captain Blume, and City Attorney Hug. PRAYER AND The meeting opened with prayer by Rev. Ernest Grant, pastor PLEDGE of First Congregational Church, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. MINUTES: BILLS PAYABLE Moved by Sarlo, seconded by Birchfield, to approve the Minutes of the regular meeting of October 6, 1975, as Published. Correction, Page Four, first paragraph, Adding Alderman Seitz to those aldermen voting AYe and in Paragraph Two, adding Alderman Seitz to those voting AYE. Following correction, motion declared carried. Moved by Bolek, seconded by Seitz, to adopt the following resolution: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DES PLAINES THAT THE FOLLOWING BILLS ARE DUE AND PAYABLE AND THAT THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK BE AND ARE HEREBY AUTHORIZED TO MAKE PAYMENT FOR SAME.
