ZONING City Attorney DiLeonardi reported that a Public Hearing
1584 Rand Rd. before the Zoning Board of Appeals had been held on
March 28, 1967 - Case 67-12-A - on petitioner's request
to rezone property located at 1584 Rand Road. The
recommendation of the Zoning Board was to rezone Lots 6, 7, 8, 10, 11
and 12 in Block 3 of River -Rand Road Subdivision; however the recommendation
of the Municipal Development Committee, concurred by the Council, was to
rezone only Lots 10, 11, and 12 in Block 3 of River -Rand Road Subdivision.
In error, just the opposite lots 6, 7, and 8 were rezoned with the

foot area to an 18,162 square -foot area exceeds their
authority of granting a 10% variation if the proposed
use of property is for automobile laundry and gasoline
service station, wherein the square foot requirement
would be 25,000 square foot area. After discussion,
it was moved by Alderman Koplos, seconded by Alderman
