KROWKA GREENHOUSE: The Clerk presented the above . report which the Zoning Board denied the rezoning to M-2 General Manufacturing, District. ,On motion by Alderman Luellen and second by Czubakowski, the Council concurred in the report. W nT6 ADOPT RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY TREASURER TO INVEST THE FUNDS OF CONSTRUCTION MOUNT: The motion was made by Alderman Czubakowski and secondee by Carroll to adopt the resolution. The Mayor put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: Alderman Rateike, Szabo, Wright, Prickett, Luellen, icer, Shillington, Figard, Carroll, Czubakowski,French, Swanson, Martin and Bonaguidi. Nays: None. The Mayor declared the motion carried. ADOPT M-28-64 ORDINANCE, INCREASE CLASS A LIQUOR LICENSES`."TO 23: The Clerk read for the first reading the above ordinance. Freeman's leave of absence. The Mayor referred a letter from the Craig Manor Home Owners' Assoc. regarding signs "Slow, Children Playing" to the Street Committee. CALL -TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Mayor Herbert H. Behrel, with Alderman Prickett, Luellen, Shillington, Figard, Czubakowski, Swanson, French, Martin, Bonaguidi, Rateike and Szabo responding to roll call.' The meeting was opened with a prayer by the Mayor and a pledge of allegiance to the flag. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The motion was made by Alderman Prickett and seconded'by Martin to approve°the minutes of December 21, 1964. The Council approied the motion by acclamation, OFFICIAL REPORTS: The Clerk submitted the reports of the Building Commissioner and Health Officer. ' AWARD BID ON TWO TRUCKS AND SNOW PLOWS: The motion was made by Alderman French and seconded by Swanson to'award the above bid to the International Harvester Co. The Mayor put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following re- sults: Ayes: Alderman Rateike, Szabo, Prickett, Luellen, Shillington, Figard, Czubakowski, French, Swanson, Martin and Bbnaguidi. ' 1 661 1/4/65 TRAFPE AT PRATT AND CRAIG AND WEBSTER LANE AND EVERETT: Alderman French made the :• following report: "Your Committee on Streets has investigated the above and has found Traffic Commission recommends 1) Pratt Ave. Yield to Craig Dr. 2) That intersection of Webster lane and Everett be made a three-way stop. We, your,Committee on Streets and Traffic, therefore recommend that City Attorney be authorized to draw up the necessary ordinances: 1) To cause vehicular traffic on Pratt Ave. to yield to Traffic on Craig Dr. 2) To stop traffic coming fram both north and south on Webster Zane to stop at the intersection of Everett St. and to stop traffic moving west onEverett: at the intersection of Webster Lane." On motion by Alder- man French and second by Czubakowski, the Council approved the report. Alderman Figard reported on change of routing 24 inch water main. The motion was made by Alderman Bonaguidi,and seconded by Luellen to change,the routing of the 24 inch water main. CITY ATTORNEY REPORTED ONDOCKETS 796 and 797 TO REZONE TO MANUFACTURING IN SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 63: The motion was made by Alderman Prickett and seconded by Swanson° to oppose the rezoning. After discussion the motion and second were withdrawn and the Attorney is to inform the City has not decided to do anything on the rezoning. The Mayor read a letter from Katz Realty and Investment Corp. canmending the Fire Department on the efficient manner in handling the incident of a fire. -PAUL HODGES JR. AND ERVIN ROSCHKE REAPPOINTED TO ZONING BOARD: On motion by Alderman Figard and second by Luellen, the Council approved the above appointments. APPOINT HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION: On motion by Alderman Shillington and second by French, the Council approved the Mayor's appointment of the following people, to the Human Relations Commission.
