has found this committee on June 18, 1962 recommended denial of a change of zoning

another community to obtain the .requested M-2 zoning, makes our position unrealistic.
We, your Committee on Municipal Development, therefore recommend that in order to
insure the improvement of the property in question according to the standards main-
tained by the building and zoning ordinances of the City of Des Plaines, the re-

report:. "Your Committee on Streets and Traffic has investigated the above and has
found that traffic coming frau Rusty Drive proceeds onto David Drive and turns into
Craig Drive with a burst of acceleration that violates the safety of those who live
in and pass through the above described area. That because of the offset nature of
the streets; ordinary traffic controls would not be effective. We, your Committee
on Streets and Traffic, therefore recommend that the police department survey the
above location and make recommendations regarding suitable control measures. One
measure.that we would like checked out is the possibility of controlling the sit-

foregoing conditions seem to have prevailed for some time. That the merchants in
the area would like to see the parking restriction.on the south side of the street
